A Craptastic Week

Monday was the start of a 5 days in a row work week and it's been a crappy one. I like my job. I thought I was doing alright, but after these last two days I'm now rethinking it all. While stocking I forgot to check the a case of product and the assistant manager got snappy with me about it. Later I heard her talking about how she was getting red flagged on returns and how she can't avoid it when there three new girls who don't know what they're doing. I really thought I was doing okay there. I've done exchanges and returns, I didn't think I was doing them wrong, no one mentioned so.

Yesterday when I got there I thought I was doing good until she found more errors in stocking. I had missed cotton in my one area. Than I didn't ring a buy 2 get 1 free coupon in and so she had to do an exchange, (she had to because I was in the middle of ring out a customer or else I could have done it), so she snapped at me for not checking coupons. Though I knew about that coupon, I just had it mixed up and I should of double checked it. We have buy 2 get one free on lashes and I thought it excluded the single lashes, here it only excludes starter kits. Anyways she had to take down her register for the next shift and I was grabbing stuff out of the office, (I was literally one foot in the office and the other on the sales floor), and it sounded bitchy but she yelled that she was taking the drawer down. It felt like she was snapping again. Needless to say, (yet I'm saying it), it put me in this really down mood. I feel like I'm the worst employee ever. I've been there since January 30th... I should have this all down, but I don't. I still miss coupons, I miss things that need to be put out on the floor, and I still have to ask for help from others there when it comes to helping customers, especially in hair color. I love this job, I'm just starting to think it doesn't love me. I'm frustrated with myself. I should have the hang of everything by now, but I don't.

Food taster.

My dog is all about food. She's surprisingly not over weight either!

Should physical education in schools be mandatory, and why?

A million times: YES!

My childhood self  is yelling at me for this but my adult self is more sensible. Physical education is very important. Starting healthy habits has to start early and I think it's great when a school requires it. Speaking as one of the kids who just slid by and barely passed my gym classes, I think if my teacher would of put more effort into getting me to be active in gym class I would have better habits and might not be overweight like I am. Obesity is a problem here in the U.S. and I think having physical education would greatly help with that.

AKA: Envelopes. I need to mail out my Low Income form to the hospital and my Insurance Application to Starbridge and I cannot find an envelope. I miss having my own place where everything had a place and I knew where that place was. I attempted to organize this place a few times and either all I heard were complaints and/or it was destroyed in less than a day. It drives me crazy. I can't stand clutter and this house can't seem to stay uncluttered. I'm the only one willing to keep up on keeping it organized and even I finally gave up just because with how much junk there is and how many people live here without wanting to pitch in, it's pointless for me to even try here. I cannot wait until I can get my own place. The little time Randy and I had our apartment to ourselves in Middlefield was heaven.

On Sunday I felt funky in the chest and had a cough during work. I got home and fell asleep just to wake up feeling worse. It's mostly a cough, but now my throat's killing me from coughing. I live with seven other people. Counting myself, five of us our sick. The other four roomies seem worse than me, but I started later than them. I'm hoping I don't get as bad as them. I had to call off work yesterday and I can't afford it. I really can't afford to do it again for tomorrow.

To top it off I spent my Valentine's Day in the ER for menstrual issues. I'm been on my period for close to three weeks and this wasn't the first time I did it. I was there for about six hours. They took like four or five vials of blood from me and tested it for various things and ended things with a pelvic exam. Most awkward thing ever while bleeding out. They said I didn't have anything major wrong, probably just a hormone imbalance. They referred me to a doctor...which I don't have the money to see or insurance yet, and than sent me home.

I got paid yesterday. It was only for a week so I made about $150. I'm guess my next check to be around $270. I owe Randy $45 and than I have a $130 share of rent, (I live with seven other people), and $75 to cover my groceries fee.

I did owe Randy $65 but I threw $40 of it back at him already. I bought our kitten a new collar, harness, and leash. I bought our dog a pink sweater. It all came out to $30.

Next month my bills are:
$215 for Rent
$100 for Groceries
$40 for Storage Unit
$70 for Cell Phone

Totaling to a lovely $425 and guessestimating I should bring in around $460 next month, give or take hours because I don't have a set schedule.
